From Northern California. This strain is more fruity than WLP001, and slightly more flocculent. Attenuation is lower, resulting in a fuller bodied beer than with WLP001.e.

Attenuation: 73-80%

Flocculation: Med - High

Optimum Ferm Temp: 66-70°F - 18-21°C

Alcohol Tolerance: Med - High (8-12%)

This is still the same 001 yeast you were using in the vial the main difference is that the yeast is never transferred to a new vessel for shipping. The yeast is grown in the package you recieve! Pretty cool! Check out the video on the White Labs website.
