St. John's Wort has been used throughout history to heal wounds and banish demons. This herb has a multitude of health benefits but also has a history linked with beer. Used for brewing Gruits before hops were widley available and commonly accepted for brewing. St. John's Wort will add a slight woody note and an undertone of bitterness, perfect for a Gruit.
Recommended Storage: Store in cool, dry conditions in well sealed containers.
Tip: Apparently if you have to much St. John's Wort in your system you should avoid sunlight as it will possibly give you some slight poisoning. We are not sure about this but we find it interesting and think the name should probably be changed to some sort of Vampire/Twilight Herb.
