Phoenix is an excellent choice among high alpha dual-purpose hops. It has a very attractive, almost mellow aroma. But the flavor has a slight spice. The true potential of Phoenix has not yet been uncovered. The storage ability of its alpha is at the top end of the world's hop varieties.
