Ginger is another spice that has amazing health benefits but can also be used in homebrewing. Great addition in Belgian spiced ales. Add in 1/2oz to the last 5-10 minutes of boil to add in subtle notes of ginger. This is an alternate to adding ginger root chunks to your beer which can be unpredictable in flavour release.
Recommended Storage: Store in cool, dry conditions in well sealed containers.
Tip: If adding spices in secondary soak for 30 min in vodka
